TRENTINO: DISCOVER THE 50 ALPINE VALLEYS

From Madonna di Campiglio to Lake Idro, from the Brenta Dolomites to the Adamello glaciers: fifty itineraries to explore new dimensions of the mountains and embark on a journey of self-discovery while connecting with nature.
It is called ‘Via delle Valli’, the Route of the 50 Valleys: a unique path that can be travelled over days, months, seasons or years. The project, which was launched last summer, was designed to encourage people to explore lesser-known places. In addition to the well-known valleys of Val Brenta, Val di Fumo and Val Nambrone, there are also lesser-known alternatives, such as Val Cercen, Val Sorda and Val di Leno.
The beauty of the land provides an opportunity for self-exploration through an inner journey that awakens all aspects of the human being. In fact, the mountains offer numerous opportunities. The ‘Via delle Valli’ project is divided into five thematic areas focusing on nature, art, taste, adventure and emotion.
Nature is the real protagonist: the eyes and spirit are amazed by the trees in all their colours, the numerous lakes, waterfalls, streams and majestic peaks. But the mountains are also art, with folklore and human creativity standing out thanks to culture, local crafts, music and design. Historic farmsteads, alpine huts, old glassworks. The itineraries offer real inspiration for exploring the artistic side of western Trentino. The routes also offer gastronomic delights, with refuges, mountain huts and restaurants showcasing the finest local produce.
Adventure lovers will be satisfied by the rocky walls and impassable paths to be explored with an alpine guide. Finally, walking in the mountains offers a pure sense of well-being and introspection. Its paths invite a slow and deep exploration, calling us back to pure forms of meditation.
A never-ending journey and a feat to be conquered at the end of which you will obtain the ‘Valley Passport’. It is a credential that demonstrates curiosity, strength, value and a desire to prove oneself.
